Day 15 – Meditate

Goodness. I can’t believe that it is the 15th of November already! We are halfway through the month! Half way through the challenge. Two weeks from Advent. And, of course, nearing Christmas every day.

How have your mornings been going? Have you enjoyed your candle and music? Let me tell you, it’s been a great way to start my day. I love how it gets my head in the right place for the day. Monday is usually my Sabbath, but my weekend was a little rough and yesterday I ended up in urgent care for some back issues. Thankfully for modern medicine, I slept a large chunk of my day away. So because I rested yesterday, I am a bit more ready to face the new week today. Which, of course, leads me to today’s goal.

Today I want you to pick a passage and meditate on it. That’s it. Pick it, write it down, stick it in your pocket, and meditate on it throughout the day today. I’d love for you to spend at least 15 minutes meditating on your scripture.

So, this week, to makeover our mornings and bring peace to our lives and home so far we have 3 simple steps. Light a candle, turn on some light pick me up music, and meditate a moment on a passage that you need to hear. See how this changes your outlook and therefore your day!

My passage today is Matthew 6:27. “Who among you by worrying can add a single moment to your life?” I would love to hear yours! Comment with your passage below.
